Those attending Hogwarts as students must post here to get to the School of Witch Craft and Wizardry. Please do so while you can. |
September 1st, 2095
Today was the day to return. Back to classes and being with Kenna 24/7. The house was busy with one teenager running around with last minute touches to her packing and spending some time with her siblings, she wouldn't see them for a long while and possibly not even at Christmas break.
Never less, Aly and her family were at the train station on time, (for once), and a cart was being pushed by said girl. On the metalic supporter was an owl cage with a barn owl within, a trunk with her clothes and another trunk with supplies that were reduced in size. She laughed and giggled with her older siblings as they walked to the platform and rolled her eyes at her mum's words while her dad continued to play around like a kid with his son.
"Hurry up already! Kenna ends up being late, but I don't wanna miss the train!"
Allison Campbell and her family members rushed passed the Muggle people to get to the platform between 9 and 10. Many jokes were thrown over heads but wands were kept tucked away. There were a few close accidents, but they made it to the wall in one piece.
One by one they walked through the barrier, hidden from Muggle view. As they came out Aly laughed at a sudden joke Acie had made in Aly's ear. She pushed her cart forward and headed to the train. One of the guys who was already on board helped take up her trunks and placed them on.
"Miss you guys. Make sure to right to me!"
Aly hugged her brother, much to his fake protests, and her sister tightly. Her mother was a bit tearful but her dad just messed up her hair.
"See you. I'll try to get Kenna to come for a break mum, I'll send you an owl if she does. Take care, don't re-organize my room again please. Love you all!"
Aly gave another round of hugs before boarding the train and finding a compartment with her stuff. She skipped down the train, ducking into every compartment and saying hi's to people and bothering those she had pranked before.
There were a few compartments that had people snogging and she cheerfully inturpted them every time only to receive colorful words and the occasional spell thrown at her, which she blocked with the door.
Finally she ducked into an empty compartment to wait, staring out at the window.

Kilara riased an eyebrow as she looked at her grandmother, who seemed to be convinced that she needed to speak with her sister about something.
"Grandmother, please. Really, it's perfectly fine. Autumn can write me and I will be able to write her back," Kilara said, watching her grandmother with identical chocolate brown eyes. The girl's hair was a reddish brown today, and she looked so much like her grandmother, one would think they were twins. After all, Alitha Raven didn't look like she was old enough to be a grandmother.
"Nonsense, Kilara. Autumn will be here-"
"You rang?"
The familiar voice of her older sister broke through the quiet. Kilara smiled as Autumn came forth and hugged her, robes swishing around her feet.
"Sorry. I got hung up on the way here. And here you go, Killy. I wouldn't forget about my yearly gift," Autumn said, handing her younger sister an envelope. All of the Raven family knew exactly what was in the envelope, so Kilara only smiled.
"Thank you, Autumn. I'm going to board the train now, before it takes off without me," Kilara said, waving and ducking into the train before her grandmother could say anything.
A soft sigh and a few compartment doors later, Kilara opened the door to see a fellow Gryffindor sitting there.
"Um... Hi, Aly. Do you mind if I sit with you?" Kilara asked, smiling. She walked into the compartment to avoid being in the way, but wouldn't sit down until she was told it was fine.

Sirene slowly glided through the train station with all her belongings, and trusty pidgeon, Contour, on her shoulder. A new year was about to begin, and it wa sher first as a transfer student from Beauxbaatons academy of magic. Currently she had no robes, and was wearing her old baby blue ones with a hogwarts patch sewn into it. A smile grew across her face as platform 9 came into view.
People had told her how to get to 9 and three quarters, so she spotted the right pillar and walked toward it casually. The witch phased through the illusion easily, and was pleased about what was happenign on the other side. A huge fire red train sat in front of her, and students were everywhere around it. There was one thing in common with all these kids too, and that was a grin on each face.
Sirene gave her matching black bags to the man who helped her carry them onto the train storage area. It was a little disheartening seeing all the other peoples families. She had a muggle father hwo wasn't aloud to come, and a witch mother whom Sirene was currently in a fight with. Because of this the young girl insisted her mother no even bother walking her to the station.
Inside though, Sirene missed her mother and promised herself that she would right an apology letter right as she found a compartment to sit in. There were so many, but she found an empty on and planted her bottom in it. She probably would sit by herself, but it was more peaceful that way. A sigh escaped the fifth years mouth, finally she made it to a new school, the first thing to do was find some boys when she got there.
Sitting back, Sirene waited for the train to take off, and her adventure to begin at Hogwarts.

Kenna was sure taking her time to come, Aly mused quietly as she looked out the window. Her elbow rested on the small ledge and her chin rested in the palm of her hand with her fingers curled on her right cheek. A gust of her breath blew passed her lips and fogged the window slightly every so often as she waited.
"Um... Hi, Aly. Do you mind if I sit with you?"
The unsure voice of a girl knocked the female Gryffindor out of her thoughts. She shook her head with her eyes closed once to clear her mind then looked upwards at the standing Kilara and smiled brightly.
"Not at all, Killy. It'd be cool if you sat with me."
Allison patted the seat across from her then leaned back into her own comfortable train seat. Hogwarts actually had a comfortable train, but it would have to be for school kids to sleep on it. She placed her elbow back on the window sill and leaned her chin on her closed fist, looking the other Gryffindor who had just joined her.
"How was your summer?"

"Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
It was a long, drawn out sigh. Not of boredom, or exasperation. It was a sigh of relief. He was going back to one of the most fantastic places in the world. It was, however, the last time he would be going back. It was a sad thought, but he would have to make the best of it. He stood, looking at the wall between 9, and 10. He looked down at the cart he was pushing, where a small cage with a pygmy owl sat covered. "Hold on Midget." He began walking forward, as if the wall didn't exist. He drew nearer, and was soon sprinting torwards it. Right as he was about to collide, when any sane person would have turned away, he vanished. No, Michael Bontecou, the Seventh Year Gryffindor was not a sane person.
The Scarlet engine came into view, as the young man wearing nothing but a pair of slacks and a 'wife beater' shirt entered Platform 9 and 3/4. He looked around for a second, getting his bearings, then moved along the length of the train, to about the mid section. As he boarded, he saw, and grabbed the first empty compartment he could find, and threw his trunk in. A small hoot of indignation sounded as Midget was tossed around. "Sorry Midget. Forgot about you for a second." He closed the door behind him and sat, laying across the length of three seats.
"Seventh year rights. No one in the compartment unless I want them here. Good to be grown."

Kilara smiled and sat down with Aly, spotting her sister outside speaking with her grandmother. The two seemed to be in serious conversation - about their mother, perhaps? - but Kilara didn't seem to mind. She pulled her feet underneath her and pushed a strand of her hair out of her face.
"It was long, but alright. We went to France for a week. How was yours, Aly? Did you spend it with Kenna?"
Kilara knew the two of them were good friends, and she thought she remembered them saying that they had spent a summer together before. Maybe she heard wrong. Either way, she knew they were good friends. She put her hands in her lap as she watched her friend and smiled.

Aly picked up a box of Jelly Beans and began to pick out the good ones, sugar was always good for the girl who got easily hyper. She grinned at Kilara and bounced in her seat slightly.
"My summer was great. My older siblings came for a rare visit and Kenna came for a few days. She didn't spend the whole summer with me this year, said something about her dad."
She waved her right hand in dismissal then went back to picking out Jelly Beans and plopping them into her mouth. Her taste was slightly more inhanced and it was twice as gross when she got a bad tasting one. Aly stuck out the house-looking box for her friend to have some before starting to wait for the trolly to come so she could buy chocolate frogs and stock up on more candy.
"I hope there are some cute guys this year. I can finally look at Sixth and Seventh years without feeling like a little girl."
Allison winked at Kilara and shook the box for her friend to pick out some candy.

Alex approached the wall between Platforms 9 and 10 and slid through, his carriage in front of him and Xio following close behind him, her tail wagging fiercely with excitement at going back to her home. Despite people yelling at him to get a carrier for his cat, Alex never bothered to waste his money on something so trivial when Xio would follow behind him regardless. After grabbing his luggage, Alex and Xio slipped onto the train, finding the first compartment that seemed to be empty and walked in, noticing two people nearly instantly.
His face flushed nearly instantly, people never really seemed to like him, especially outside of his house. Both of the girls were Gryffindors he recognized, not the most likely people to welcome him with open arms. Noticing that his robes weren't on yet, and not really desiring to search for another compartment, Alex spoke quietly, facing the floor.
"Sorry, I didn't realize- well I mean... do you mind if I sit in here?"
He finally managed to spit out his question, his face still red from embarrassment. His eyes flickered up to look at the girls quickly and he tried to force a smile, but it ended up as more of a grimace and he faced the ground once more, focusing on his shoes.

The dark haired veela laughed as Aly spoke, shaking her head. "I'm glad you had such a good time, Aly," she said, taking a piece of the offered candy. She popped it in her mouth and smiled. Ahh, cherry. She laughed again whenever Aly spoke of the boys she could now look at.
"Indeed you can," she told Aly, smiling. She took one more jelly bean and popped it in her mouth, making a face. Lemon. Twice as sour.
Kilara blinked and then looked at Aly whenever the compartment door opened. "I don't mind, if Aly doesn't," she said, smiling. She vaguely recognized him as in their year, but she didn't recognize him otherwise. Then again, Kilara was the kind of person who wouldn't treat him any differently anyway.

The door slid open again and Aly looked up from peering in the box of candy. She popped one more into her mouth before standing up and walking a circle around the new addition to their compartment. A grin slipped onto her face and she nodded to herself. She pushed his blushing face up then nodded to him.
"You pass. Sit where ever you want, cutie."
Honestly the girl couldn't care less about what house he was in although she had yet to find out. The prankster held out the box of jelly beans to Alex, offering some with a passive smile.
"I'm Aly Campbell. She's Kilara Raven, who're you?"
She suddenly made a noise as if she figured something out or remembered something and reached under her seat to dig out a small bag. Within the bag were many different kinds of sugary products such as chocolate frogs and she took two out, handing on to Kilara and opening the other to eat it herself.
"You're in fifth year too, right? I don't believe you've been hit by our pranks yet. No matter, you're cute enough to get pass."

Alex sat in his usual fashion, his knees to his chin and took a jelly bean, looking at it quizzically and then popping it into his mouth. The taste didn't phase him and he wasn't particularly sure what it is, but he was guessing something along the lines of grass. His face became even more red as she called him cute, something that he wasn't particularly fond of.
"I'm Alex Walsh..."
he whispered as Xio lept up next to him, curling up into a ball and nearly instantly falling asleep, her chest rising and falling quickly. Looking at the two for the first real image, Alex noticed that he only had a few classes with them the year prior, but they had never been anywhere close to him so they wouldn't have spoken. Once more, Aly spoke and Alex flushed and spoke quietly,
"Yeah, I'm in the fifth year..."
He grumbled, knowing that the roadblock of his House was about to be hit, and he tried to dodge it as much as possible, so he grabbed a book from his bag and opened it up, beginning to read. Trying his hardest not to look at the girls, as not to give them a hint towards his sexuality, which he hadn't revealed to anyone, spare Xio who didn't really count anyway.

Kilara smiled as Aly introduced her to the new boy. Once he spoke, Kilara took the sweet from Aly and smiled. "Nice to meet you, Alex," she said, listening to him as he spoke. He seemed to be a bit shy, though Kilara could sympathize. She nibbled on the sweet before watching him.
"What house are you in? Aly and I are Gryffindors," Kilara said. She then looked up thoughtfully. "I think we had classes together last year," she muttered, unable to completely remember. Her eyes fell on the feline in Alex's lap and she watched it closely, smiling.

[This post is Aly's.] Aly refrained from poking fun at Alex’s tomato red face, instead biting off the head of her chocolate frog. The spell on the frog hardly bothered her, having grown up with them since she was little. A snicker escaped her when she remembered how Kenna had squirmed at the sight of eating a live frog in her first year. She was practically bouncing around in her seat now, continuing to get hyper on sugar while waiting for her best sisterly friend.
“Oh wait a second…Aren’t you a Slytherin?”
The girl leaped out of her seat to peer at the cute year-younger boy. She suddenly poked his cheek and threw herself back into her seat, bringing her legs up to fold them pretzel-fashion on the seat.
“Kenna is so very very late…She deserves to be tickled mercilessly now. What do you say Kilara? Tackle her with me?”

"Uh... yeah, I am...."
Alex grumbled, still staring at the ground while stroking Xio's side. The two girls were quite irritating, their voices just sliced through his ears every time they opened their mouths, causing him to wince slightly. He put his legs down and put the cat on his legs, clearly waking her.
"So, uh... are you guys worried about the O.W.Ls?"
Alex asked, forcing himself to make conversation as to steer the topic away from himself so as not to reveal anything that he didn't want to. Xio scratched on Alex's chest as she awoke and began to roam around the room, sniffing at the new people. Alex's vision returned to his book as Xio moved around.

Kilara smiled, not really caring that he was a Slytherin. She looked at Aly and laughed, nodding. "Alright. I'll join in on your tackle tickle fun," she said, turning her gaze to Alex, making a face. "A little bit. My sister told me that they're nothing to sweat, but I don't know. Are you worried about them?" she asked him, watching as the feline sniffed her. She liked animals, of all kinds. They were sweet.

Aly nodded to Alex, blowing past the fact he was a Slytherin. What was the point in hating someone you didn't know? If he had insulted her or was cruel or something, then she would dislike him. She wrinkled her nose like a rabbit at the mention of O.W.L.s, it was that year.
"Well, if my loser older brother Acie could become an Auror I'm pretty sure that I can pass my O.W.L.s. He told me to focus on the subjects I like most and not to slack off so much, hypocrite."
The girl snickered and whipped out more chocolate frogs and candy from her never empty bag o' candy and junk food. She offered some to Alex before opening another frog and biting into it. It was amazing she wasn't fat or unhealthy from how much candy she consumed, but she didn't drink soda and that was a big thing...that and she was a werewolf. Chocolate was something she enjoyed eating as much as she could while she was human because as a werewolf, like any dog, it would poison her.
Her figure remained slim and as fit as could be with all the sugar put into it. A frown crossed her face for a briefest of moments before a smile replaced it again. More Wolfsbane potion would have to be made later and she made a mental check for that.
"Hey Killy, Alex, guess what! I'm a registered Animagus now."

Sitting back still Sirene began to right the apology letter to her mother. Contour peered over her shoulder looking at what she was writing. The girl always wondered what happened in that crazy dove's head.
Outside her room Sirene heard a lot of door closing and people getting settled in their compartments. It looked like she was right, and sadly her trip would be a lonely one. Continuing with her letter the candy cart then came. The old sweet lady knocked on the door with a grin on her face. Happily Sirene opened it and ordered 2 chocolate frogs, 1 licorice wand, and this gummy spider thing that looked good.
Shutting the door, and grabbing her seat again, Sirene started eating her candy before she finished the letter. The licorice wand was long, fire red, and devoured quickly. Next was the gummy spider, which tasted like Dr. Pepper odly. Lastly were the two chocolate frogs, the first was pretty easy to eat. But the second caught her by surprise, and jumped in the air. Luckily contour snatched it out of the air, and gave it to her.....gross. That dove's mouth could have been anywhere. Ripping off the leg that was in the dirty mouth, Sirene then ate the rest. The other leg ended up out the window.
Finishing her letter, she sealed it together and gave it to Contour. "Deliver to mother please!" she accidentally said pretty loudly. Emberassed the fifth year slouched in her chair hoping nobody heard her booming comment.

"Idiot... brother..."
Alex mumbled looking at Aly quizzically, it wasn't something that he had heard anyone with siblings ever say before, most other people were had a slight admiration of their siblings. The tickle attack hadn't even processed in Alex's mind, who was more interested in the book in front of him than the girls around him, but couldn't help but to pay attention to the two.
"No, I'm not particularly afraid of the O.W.L.s, I'm ready for them..."
Alex whispered, closing the book and putting it back into his bag, already knowing that he wasn't going to get very far into the book until the two girls became more interested in their own conversation. Xio finished her quest around the compartment, and jumped back onto Alex's lap, purring.

Guuuuurrrrrrgggggllllllleeeeeee
He looked around, trying to find the source of the noise. A quick look over the compartment left him only one last place to look. A slow turn of his head downward, and another loud gurgle confirmed his suspicions. "Damn... I forgot to bring a snack." He kicked out in frustration, stubbing his toe on en empty seat.
"Damnit!"
Limping slightly, he moved form his compartment, to the hall, looking around. He got pushed around slightly, as he tossled his way through. "Get out of the way!" His shout was loud enough to startle a couple of the first years looking eagerly around. He chortled slightly as he limped on, looking for the food trolley. True, they hadn't left the station yet, but she could already be out and about making money. He spotted an almost empty compartment, with someone who looked atleast slightly intelligent. He poked his head into Sirene's compartment, and spoke.
"Eh, excuse me, but, have you seen the Trolley lady? I don't want to have to wait til halway thorugh the trip for her to go by my apartment."

"Stupid father, if I miss the train because of him I'm going to murder him,"she muttered under her breath quite loudly, getting a few strange looks from the people standing outside the Hogwarts Express, mostly picked over to parents now. So much for meeting Aly like she always planned to do... She guessed her father just didn't like Aly much.
After she herself put her trunk on the train, she heard a loud noise. She stood for a moment, trying to remember where she had heard that noise from before. Oddly enough, she felt like it was horribly familiar, like she had heard it at least twice every term..."Oh. Snap."
The train was about to take start, and since she was indeed quite the clumsy person, there was no way she'd be able to run and catch her transportation to Hogwarts. A sigh escaped her throat as she hoisted herself up in the luggage compartment of the train, then stepping on everyone else's' trunks to find the door. She found it within five minutes time, actually finding it in two, but it had taken her three to clear it.
And then she gave a more happy sigh, looking and hearing the busy chatter of her schoolmates,"Fun,fun!" Now there was just the hunt of finding Aly-cakes and whoever else she might have hoarded into the compartment with her. About seven compartments down, she looked through the window, seeing Kilara, Aly, and stranger boy who looked oddly familiar... Maybe from a class or something.
She slid the door open, closing it shut, pouncing on the boy, not really giving a damn that her skirt would fly up, showing off her heart decorated panties, matching the dress she wore. It had been white and poka-dotted with pink and red hearts. Yes, actually, she was very coordinated when it came to what she wore under her close as well...
"Who are youuuuuuh?"she said, talking to the boy she just pounced, looking over at the book,"And whatchu reading?"
